王彬，男，1969年出生，汉族，甘肃武威，中共党员，博士研究生学历，教授，本硕博先后毕业于南开大学、兰州大学和中山大学，在兰州军区兰州总医院完成博士后研究工作，现任湘南学院医学部副部长。主要研究领域为药物化学及药用植物学，是湖南省药学会理事，担任湖南省药学会药物化学专业委员会副主任委员兼秘书长。近年来，主持省部级项目4项，在药物化学方面国际权威核心期刊以第一作者发表了20多篇的研究论文，其中发表于《European Journal Medicinal Chemistry》论文获得2012年湖南省第十四届自然科学优秀学术论文二等奖。另外，申请并获得国家发明专利4项，主编药学本科专业规划教材1本。

主讲本科生课程：《药物化学》，《药事管理与法规》，《药物合成》。
